Your First Appointment
Your first appointment will be a consultation and will take between 30 minutes to an hour. It is free of charge with no upfront commitment and is similar to a screening.
Step 1: Records
At your first visit, our clinician will do a pre-operative analysis to evaluate your jaw anatomy. Necessary records will be taken and a 3-D x-ray will be prescribed.
Step 2: Treatment Plan
Based on the findings of your 3-D X-ray and the records taken, we’ll develop a concise treatment plan that outlines the exact treatment time and cost of your treatment. At this appointment you can ask the clinician to see photos of the expected treatment results.

Dr. Adam Barsoum completed his bachelors of dental medicine in 2012. After which he moved to Boston and graduated magna cum laude from Boston University in 2015 and worked in Private Practice. He retuned to specialize and completed a 2 year residency at New York University in Dental Implants and Prosthetics in 2018, in 2020 he completed a fellowship at New York University and is now an Assistant Professor at New York University in the Ashman Department of Implants and Periodontics.
Dr. Adam Barsoum is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. When he is not working in private practice he is working on various research topics or presenting in national and international dental conferences.
Apart from his profession, he is an avid hiker and spends his time exploring much of what this beautiful planet has to offer us, or is building something in his backyard.

Implants are made of titanium. After they are installed, they are left to heal for a period of 3 months. During this time by osseointegration, the body accepts it as its own and a prosthetic crown is screwed into the titanium fixture.
